Pint when he was actually pint-sized and not a 6’6 brick shithouse

His first year so to speak, fresh off the tar. His behavior at this point is still very undefined, with no grasp of language or still proper body communication. Often mistaken for having a mental condition. Characterized by attempting to mimic practically everything he sees, or going for long periods of time just simply observing people—a tad uncomfortable, though this process is vital for him to assimilate how behavior works.

His chalkurite is active throughout, but he can only benefit from quick healing and high pain threshold. Very useful perks considering he might try to mimic certain tasks like cutting up the veggies for dinner. He CAN’T shapeshift however, in no small amount at all. If/when he does (age 10 in his case) he experiences an impulse shift, and from then on can’t go back to having a dormant chalkurite (will experience the bloodthist urges among other unpleasant things) On the bright side he can now turn into a horrifying mess of blue swirls or an angry three ton gray monster

He doesn’t get enough exposure in his early years, and the most he gets is through very controlled interactions with Roxanne (later on she loosens a lot). The dog there that Roxanne has to often babysit (Nino) is one of those seldom exposures Pint gets to anything else. Also probably the thing to blame why he’s got some few odd dog quirks

These years are key to hammering down some important behaviors, from how he deals with stress to whether he’s an active or reactive personality.
